MIHJEA strives toward our mission of education, advocacy, and action toward housing justice in the Midwest.

We serve tenants by changing the way we think and talk about our renting experiences; by educating one another about the history of housing justice, tenants rights, and advocacy; through learning how other renter-workers have fought for housing justice; and by developing solutions and answers to the multiple housing crises in the Midwest.
