From Ohio to Missouri

Education, advocacy, and action toward housing justice in the Midwest.

We understand that landlords and society have created and perpetuated false narratives about we renter-workers: who we are; how we treat property; and what we "can get away with." We work with tenants to undo how landlords and society negatively talk about us and renting.

Through storytelling and data gathering, we create narratives that will upend false and dangerous images and messages around housing.

Through education, we equip renter-workers with theory, history, and skills to advocate and act toward collective housing justice work in the Midwest.

Finally, we understand that landlords and society have taken advantage of tenants because renter-workers are not at the center of policies that would benefit them. As we formulate solutions to housing crises, we engage in collective work toward just, sustainable housing futures filled with joy, abundance, verdant public spaces, and deep relationships.
