Housing is a human need and right — everyone in the Midwest is entitled to just, sustainable housing

• The stories and experiences of renter-workers are worth preserving 

• Transformative justice and organizing are our bulwarks 

• Indigenous/Black/Latinx/Asian femme-presenting people should lead education and training

• Folks with disabilities; the young; elders; the unhoused; and folks in the LGBTQIA+ community within these groups should especially lead and train

• Popular education should be utilized to inform and challenge renter-workers
